    Alfalfa (Medicago Sativa)

      • Indications: blood tonic, prevent/reduce anemia in prenatal and postpartum, strengthens all body systems, reduce risk of hemorrhage
      • Contains: iron, chlorophyll, protein, vitamins A, D, E, B6, B12, K, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, trace minerals, digestive enzymes, carotenes

      Nettle Leaf (Artica Dioica)

      • Indications: a calming and nutritive herb, aids the kidneys, reduces leg cramps, prevents iron-deficient anemia, diminishes pain during and after birth, reduces risk of hemorrhage, reduces hemorrhoids, supports breast milk production (richness of milk and supply), aids in fertility, nourishes the blood
      • Contains: more chlorophyll than any other herb, vitamins A, C, D, K, calcium, potassium, and iron

      Red Raspberry Leaf (Rubus Idaeus)

      • Indications: most widely used and safest of all herbs in pregnancy, prenatal tonic; increases fertility, eases morning sickness, reduces risk of miscarriage and hemorrhage, tones the uterus, fosters calming, reduces pain in labor and birth, encourages the uterus to work effectively in labor, supports milk production, aids in fertility
      • Contains: vitamins A, B complex, C, E, high in iron, phosphorus, potassium and calcium

      Oat Straw (Avena Sativa)

      • Indications: strengthens the capillaries to reduce varicosities, helps with sleep (insomnia), reduces cramps, promotes healthy muscle function, promotes relaxed nerves, nourishes reproductive system, strengthening, good for anxiety
      • Contains: calcium, magnesium, B-complex vitamins, flavones, saponins, and Vitamin A

      Rosehips (Rosa Canina)

      • Indications: circulatory and immune system support, prevents constipation and other stomach upsets
      • Contains:  vitamin C, antioxidants, iron

      Chamomile (Matricaria Chamomilla) 

      • Indications: good for digestion, gas, nausea, calming, heartburn, insomnia, tension and headaches, urinary tract infections; prevents constipation; promotes relaxation (in mama and baby); reduces mental stress; reduces cramps; supports healthy appetite, immune support
      • Contains: calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, manganese, zinc, iron, and selenium
        *Note: women at risk for miscarriage should consume no more than one cup of chamomile tea in the first 4 months of pregnancy.  People with a ragweed allergy should not consume chamomile.

      Rooibos (Aspalathus Linearis)

      • Indications: promotes healthy circulation, soothes colic in babies, aids in the absorption of iron, anti-carcinogenic, helps with allergies, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, promotes digestive health
      • Contains: very high in anti-oxidants, trace minerals, magnesium, calcium, manganese, zinc, iron

      Lemon Verbena (Aloysia Triphylla)

      • Indications:  strengthens the nervous system, eases colic, supports healthy digestion, emotionally uplifting and calming; traditionally used for insomnia, hemorrhoids, varicose veins and constipation

      • Add 1 scoop (1T) of herbs per cup of tea or 4 per quart.
      • Allow water to boil, steep covered for 3 to 5 minutes or longer. (Our tea doesn't over steep!)
      • Drink 1 to 4 cups a day.
      • Keep away from heat and light.
      • You can reuse the supplied muslin bag as often as you like, just turn inside out, rinse, and hang to dry.
